This app has been discontinued and is only in the store to give existing users a chance to update to the latest version, export their data, and import it into PrayerMate, another free prayer app that is more actively developed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." - James 5:16 Pray! will help you remember who and what to pray for, with the hope of improving your prayer life and communion with God. It gives you simple yet powerful control over your prayer requests: 1. Title and Details, with the Title being the only required field. A simple request can be entered in two taps: Tap to add new, start typing, tap to save, done. 2. Reminder, to schedule a local notification that can remind you to pray at a certain time, even when you're not running the app. You can repeat reminders daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. The number of reminders is capped at 64 by Apple. 3. Prayer Areas. Add a request to any number of Prayer Areas for easier sorting and better organization. Pray! ships with a set of default Prayer Areas, but you are free to add, edit, or delete as many you wish. Goals of Pray!: 1. Quick, no-nonsense data entry. The fields and features are kept to a minimum by design so that you can spend your time praying, not managing requests. 2. Intuitive and streamlined UI. Number of taps to accomplish a certain task has been taken into consideration in the design of Pray!. Additionally, the UI has been kept as close to other standard Apple applications as possible, so navigating around Pray! should feel very familiar and intuitive. 3. Speed and Reliability. Much time was spent to ensure a solid and stable application that performs and manages the device's resources well. This has been and always will be an important design criterion. Tips: - Pray for requests in a different Prayer Area each day of the week. - Quickly see which requests have been assigned to Prayer Areas or have scheduled a Reminder by the graphical indicators on each Request. - After Pray! is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
